Norway's oil and gas investment is expected to reach a historic high in 2025Norwegian oil and gas industry agency Offshore recently stated that it expects Norwegian oil and gas companies to invest a record breaking 275 billion Norwegian kroner (approximately 177.8 billion yuan) in 2025, up from 263.7 billion Norwegian kroner in 2024.At the end of 2024, Offshore expects Norwegian oil and gas companies to invest 240 billion Norwegian kroner in oil and gas in 2024 and 225.9 billion Norwegian kroner in 2025. The main factors predicting an increase in investment include rising costs, accelerated development of multiple oil fields, and increased drilling in existing oil and gas fields. 41 exploration wells will be drilled in Norwegian waters in 2024, with plans to drill 45 wells by 2025, setting a new record since 2019.Norway is the largest oil and gas producer in Western Europe, with a daily production of over 4 million barrels of oil equivalent. Norway plans to continue expanding production in the coming decades. Offshore also expects that after the peak in 2025, Norwegian oil and gas investment will gradually decline, reaching 251 billion kroner in 2026 and 203 billion kroner in 2029.

The transportation work of the Uzbuhara wind power project has been successfully completed 

On November 14th, the last set of wind turbine blades for the Uzbehara wind power project, constructed by China Energy Engineering, safely arrived at the Zankerdi wind power site, marking the successful completion of the transportation of all project units and achieving another major contract milestone for the project, laying a solid foundation for grid connected power generation.The Bukhara wind power project in Uzbekistan has a total of 1422 oversized units, with a cabin body weighing 125 tons and blade lengths exceeding 84 meters. The maximum weight of a single tower is 93 tons, and the maximum diameter reaches 4.8 meters. The entire project unit departed from multiple locations in China, including Baotou, Jiuquan, and Bayannur, and underwent a land transportation journey of up to 5000 kilometers, crossing the customs of China, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. During the transportation process, the project team withstood multiple tests such as severe weather, poor road conditions, and tight project schedules, making it one of the largest single projects in the history of wind turbine land transportation with the most complex logistics conditions.The Bukhara 1GW wind power project in Uzbekistan, jointly constructed by China Energy Engineering International Group, China Power Engineering International Corporation, Zhejiang Thermal Power, and North China Institute, is the largest single wind power project officially launched in Central Asia. It is located in the southern part of the Turkestan Desert in Uzbekistan and includes two 500MW wind farms, Bashi and Zankerdi. After the project is put into operation, it will greatly improve the local power supply capacity, enhance the local power structure, and assist the Uzbekistan government in achieving the national new energy strategy goals by 2030.
